FuHui Veyly, a direct foundry specializing in brass Buddha statues and custom temple bronze sculptures, has announced the completion of production line optimization and capacity expansion at its factory in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. As an integrated direct factory handling design, casting, and finishing in-house, FuHui Veyly now accepts custom orders for brass deity statues ranging from small desktop pieces to large-scale temple bronze statues, with no minimum order quantity (1 piece accepted) and factory-direct pricing.

Core Casting Processes Explained

Lost-Wax Precision Casting:

FuHui Veyly's primary technique is traditional lost-wax casting (investment casting), ideal for producing intricate brass Buddha statues with complex detailing. The process sequence includes: clay sculpting → silicone mould fabrication → wax pattern injection → multi-layer shell building (slurry + sand) → dewaxing and kiln firing (approx. 800–1000°C) → molten bronze pouring (1100–1200°C) → shell removal and sandblasting → welding and assembly → surface finishing. Lost-wax casting faithfully reproduces subtle facial expressions, mudra hand gestures, robe folds, halo ornamentation, and jewelry details – making it the preferred process for temple bronze statue commissions.

Material Selection:

Primary alloys are H62 and H65 high-grade brass (minimum copper content ≥95%), offering excellent durability and stability – with proper care, these statues can last for decades. Alloy ratios can be adjusted to client preference, such as adding tin for an antique bronze patina or varying zinc content to achieve different shades.

Surface Finishing Options:

1. Antique Patina: Achieved through chemical treatment or manual aging, giving a classic, time-honored appearance – ideal for traditional temples and vintage aesthetic settings.

2. Traditional Gold-Leaf Gilding: Applying pure gold leaf over a lacquer base for a solemn, majestic finish – suitable for main shrine brass deity statues.

3. Mercury-Gilding (Gold-Amalgam): A historical technique where a gold-mercury amalgam is applied and heated, resulting in a durable, long-lasting gold layer.

4. Polychrome Painting: Mineral-based pigments applied according to ritual specifications, offering rich coloration.

5. Heat-Coloring (Thermal Oxidization): Controlled heating to create diverse colour effects on the bronze surface.

Product Sizes:

From small desktop pieces (starting at 10 cm) to monumental outdoor sculptures (several meters to over 10 meters). Standard sizes benefit from ready-to-use moulds, reducing lead time; fully custom sizes can be produced from drawings, photos, or sketches.

Custom Order Workflow

FuHui Veyly follows a transparent and structured custom order process:

1.Requirement Gathering – Client provides design drawings, photos, sketches, or descriptive text. For Vajrayana statues, please include iconometric proportion references (e.g., as per the Sutra of Proportions).

2.Design Approval – We produce a clay maquette or 3D render for client sign-off.

3.Mould Making – After approval, we proceed to mould fabrication and casting.

4.Casting & Finishing – The piece undergoes lost-wax casting, welding, grinding, and surface finishing – over 20 process steps in total.

5.Final Inspection – Upon completion, we provide photo/video evidence for client approval before packaging and shipping.

Clients are warmly invited to visit the factory and observe every stage – from clay sculpting and mould making to casting and finishing – with complete transparency. For visitors from Taiwan and Malaysia, we arrange dedicated onsite reception and guided explanations.
