Fuhui Veyly is a professional manufacturer of Guan Gong statues. With our own factory and mastery of sophisticated bronze casting techniques, we expertly capture the symbolism of loyalty, righteousness, and prosperity associated with Guan Gong. Our statues are ideal for custom orders for a wide range of settings, from shops and home shrines to temples, across locations spanning from Taipei to Bangkok.

Who is Guan Gong?

No other Taoist deity commands the cross-functional devotion of Guan Gong. He is simultaneously worshipped as the God of War, the Martial God of Wealth, the Patron of Loyalty, the Protector of Police, and the Guardian of Businesses.

His statue is the most common religious object in Southeast Asian commercial spaces—found in more restaurants, shops, and corporate offices than any other deity.

Guan Gong began as Guan Yu, a general in AD 160 during the Three Kingdoms period. By the Sui dynasty, he was deified. By 1594, a Ming emperor canonised him as the God of War.

In Taoism, he became Guan Sheng Di Jun. In Buddhism, he was adopted as Sangharama Bodhisattva. His red face, long beard, and Green Dragon Crescent Blade became the most recognisable iconography in East Asian religious art.

Why Do Merchants Choose the Guan Gong Statue?

Guan Gong embodies three virtues essential to commerce: loyalty to one's organization, credibility with partners, and courage in adversity.

Business owners across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan install his statue to attract customers, deter evil, and secure prosperity.

● The standing pose with blade raised is preferred for active protection.

● The seated pose with blade resting represents stability and long-term success.

● The reading pose (holding the Spring and Autumn Annals) symbolizes wisdom and integrity.

Fuhui Veyly produces Guan Gong statues in four traditions:

1. Chinese/Taiwanese Temple Style

Manufacturing challenges: requires precise armour detailing

2. Southeast Asian Commercial Style

Manufacturing challenges: demands center-of-gravity balancing

3. Warrior/Military Style

4. Contemporary Collector Style

Our Huizhou foundry has completed Guan Gong commissions up to 16 feet, including a 14-foot seated Guan Gong for a Taoist temple in Taiwan and a 12-foot standing Guan Gong for a corporate headquarters in Singapore.

Guan Gong is our highest-volume statue, representing a significant portion of our total Taoist production. Orders come from temples, businesses, and collectors across Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and other countries.

Repeat order rate remains strong among commercial clients, with annual growth reflecting increasing demand across the region.

Available finishes include gold-gilding for temple and major commercial installations, polychrome painting for Southeast Asian commercial settings, antique patina for heritage restorations, and natural bronze for contemporary collectors.

All statues are fully customizable: pose, size, material, finish, and facial expression can all be specified to match client requirements.
