Project Background & The Challenge
When a temple committee approached fuhuiveyly to craft a new set of custom bronze Buddha statues for their newly renovated main hall, they had two strict requirements:
- Spatial Harmony: The statues needed to fill the grand hall without overpowering the space. The central Buddha had to command absolute visual authority.
- Iconographic Accuracy: Every detail, from the mudras (hand gestures) to the mounts (lions and elephants), had to strictly adhere to traditional Mahayana sutras.
The Solution: Proportion & Hierarchy Planning
In professional Buddhist architecture, statue height is not arbitrary. Based on our extensive experience, we recommended a 3-meter (approx. 10 ft) central statue. This height aligns perfectly with the "Jōroku" (丈六) tradition, scaled slightly to fit a modern grand hall.
To ensure the central Buddha remained the undisputed focal point, our engineers applied the Industry Standard Golden Ratio for Temple Statues:
The Execution: Flawless Craftsmanship
Once the proportions were approved via 3D renderings, our master sculptors and casting team began the intricate work.
Center: Shakyamuni Buddha
Craftsmanship Highlight: Seated displaying the Bhumisparsha Mudra. The seamless welding ensures no unsightly seams, while the meticulous gold leafing radiates a divine aura.
Left: Samantabhadra Bodhisattva
Craftsmanship Highlight: Strict adherence to sutras required a six-tusked white elephant mount. We engineered the tusks for structural stability, symbolizing the Six Paramitas.
Right: Manjushri Bodhisattva
Craftsmanship Highlight: Riding a blue lion, holding a flaming sword and a Prajna sutra. High-precision casting ensures these fine attributes are sharply defined.
Overcoming the 3-Meter Casting Challenge
Casting a 3-meter bronze statue requires immense technical expertise. We utilized the traditional Lost-Wax Casting Method combined with modern 3D structural modeling. The statue was cast in sections, seamlessly welded, and hand-polished before the final gold-leafing process.

The Result: Global Logistics & Installation
For large-scale projects, shipping is as critical as the sculpture itself. We engineered custom heavy-duty wooden crates with shock-absorbing materials for sea freight. Upon arrival, the statues fit together perfectly. We also provided detailed installation blueprints and remote video guidance to the local temple team.
